Training Sept 28 to Oct 4

This is week is a Building week. 


I will need to know if you are attending the Jericho Camp, there is a slight change to the dates we will leave Friday morning Oct 16th and return on Sunday evening.

I also need to make arrangements for La Foret Montmorency on Nov 12 to 14th so please sign up on the same sheet.

I have received a lot of feedback that the later practice time (6:30 - 8:30) is stressful so we will returning to the 6:30 - 8:00 pm. We will use the later practice time only during a volume week to help athletes get their volume done of that week. Older junior men and women and open athletes may want to arrive early as most weeks you will have more than 1.5 hours to accomplish. 




Tuesday Sept 29th (I will be at P8 at 5:30 for those that would like some extra technique work)

Activity: Classic 3 x 4mins equal rest double pole Intervals

Location: P8 remember your head lamp, it is not wise to get hurt because you do not have a head lamp. 

Time: 6:30-8:00pm

Thursday, September Oct 1st

Activity: For Juveniles and Juniors circuit strength at Riders Roost 

Open Categories Ski Bounding 3 x 7mins zone first half zone 3 second half zone 4  equal rest

Location: Chalet Des Erable

Time: 6:30-8:00

Saturday  Oct 3rd 

Activity: Road Cycling we will cycle the loop 20km for Juveniles 30-50km for older categories road bikes or mountain bikes will work, the goal is a good distance work out of the legs and it is something up and different from running and roller skiing, a good change. 

Location: P5 

Time: 8:30-10:30 this needs to be an earlier practice because  the NCC would like us off the Park Way by 10:30am 

Sunday Oct 4th 

Activity: Classic Distance Ski with Double polling and legs only strength and technique work. 

Location: p8 

Time:8:30am-10:30am everyone, this is an early morning practice because we need everyone to be off the park way by 10:30am.
