Wow we have had some impressive awards handed out this last little while.
Ski de fond Quebec
- William Dumas was selected the Revelation of the Year
in the Juvenile category. The award recognizes William's hard work and
commitment to the sport. William was second overall in the Quebec Cup
and first over all in his category at Nationals! Way to go!
- Laura Leclair was accepted to the Quebec Development Team.
- I received the Coach of La Releve, quite an honor!
ACBQ - Qubec Biathlon Association - Chloé Selerier is the winner of the Youth Female 2011 - 2012 Coupe Québec. Chloé's off-season and on-season commitment pays off handsomely.
- Kudos to Teo Sanchez for the Senior Boy 2011 - 2012 Coupe Québec. Additionally, Teo is also the 2011 - 2012 ACBQ Male Revelation. This is the second year running which means he exceeded last year's expectations.
- Edith Veillette, Biathlon Bears coach, was awarded the ACBQ Coach of the Year! Excellent work Edith. The club thanks you for your dedication and work with the children.
Biathlon Ontario - Alex Dupuis also received an Athlete of the Year from Biathlon Ontario, Amazing!!!
Good work to all, it shows that we as a club are really doing the right things, keep training, pushing and smiling because who knows where we will end up.
This is week 5 in our
yearly training program, this means that it is a easy building week.
This week is the easiest of our three building weeks this block and it
is slightly harder than last block. The training program is set up to
build you little by little, it should be rare that you feel as though
you are totally destroyed after a work out. If you are than your
recovery time is going to be longer which will affect the next training.
For anyone that is having pain, sick or is injured. It is important that you let me know so that we can modify your training for the day, week or month. It is better to modify your training than to have sickness or injury last longer that it should and force you to have to sit out. Remember most sickness and injury is preventable.
