Training May 22nd to 27th

Week four recovery week 

On your training plan it has tomorrow's practice being indoor rock climbing. We are going to save this activity for another evening because the weather is going to be absolutely beautiful tomorrow. We will do core strength tomorrow at Lac Lemey see below for details. I am avoiding being in the park for the next few week while we are strength training, to stay out of the bugs.

As Patty mentioned last night I have been nominated and been selected as a finalist for coach of the year for both SFQ and Outaouais. This is very excitting as I have never been nominate for these types of awards. I find out this week end at the SFQ banquet if I am chosen and on June 6th there is a Gala for the Outaouais Award. Keep your fingers crossed and I will let you know what happens. Because I am away in Trois Rivier this week end I will not be at training on Sunday morning, I will have some other folks coaching.

Wednesday, May 23th  

Sunday May 27th 

  • Activity: Ski walk/hike easy zone 1 Ski/Hike to Mckinstry after a warm up on the way up wolf trail you will do a series of ten plyometric excerises as strength, we will end the run with a dip into meech lake bring a towel if you wish.
  • When: 9 - 11 pm 
  • location: P13 
  • Bring: running poles, running gear, water, snack for after practice.  
  • Dress for the weather

Monday May 28th  

  • Activity: Core Strength  
  • When: 6 - 7:30pm
  • Location: Lac Lemey Casino Parking Lot
  • Bring: Running Gear, water and snack for after practice.
