This is week 6 in our yearly training plan. This week is a medium building week the focus will be on more volume with technique and strength being out big focusses. On Thursdays we have been focussing on pacing and working on running technique at the track. I have created a spread sheet out of the time trials that we have done that has your paces and predicted paces for different race distances. I have posted the spread sheet in the filling cabinet. Pace is one of the most important things to learn in having a good race. Knowing how fast you are gong by feel is so important especially in an individual start race but also in a mast start race so you know what pace you should race at rather that going to slow or too fast for your race plan. Here is the dynamic stretch routine that I would like us all to use before each work out. It is a full body dynamic stretch work that can be done almost completely standing so we will be able to use it in the winter as well. Print it, learn it, remember it. Stretch Warm Up
