Training June 29 to July 5th

Week 8

This is a rest week Make sure to take the time to rest as we are going to be training hard the rest of the summer. 

Juveniles makes sure that you sign up and register for the juvenile camp here is the link. you have until July 11th to register. 

We have discussed training plans and sport log at practice. 
Registration for Sport Log is simple just fill out the form make sure that you put your team as Chelsea Nordiq and the registration code is "xcski". By clicking Chelsea Nordiq both Katie and I will be able to review your training. We will check your training once a week to see your progress. If you have a question please email Katie or myself directly so that you can get a fast response. 

Registration is now open please use this link to get to the registration link, Please make sure that you read all information on the Chelsea Nordiq Website and the zone4 website. Mistakes in registration costs lots of volunteer time to fix. Please enter both athlete and parent email address so that both are on the email list. 


Tuesday June 30th 

Activity: Skate ski intervals 8 x 10 secs plus easy distance ski, we will also look at sprint starts and do some video. 

Location: War museum 

Time: 6:30-8pm 

Wednesday July 1st No training Canada Day

Activity: Enjoy Canada Day



Thursday July 2nd

Activity: Zone 1 Technical Run

Location: Camp Fortune

Time: 6:30 - 8pm

Sunday July 5th MEC cross country running race

Activity:  Mec 5 or 10km running race, this race is only $15 and it is a good opportunity to get some more race practice in. I recommend the 5km and the 10km for those that are wanting for challenge. It is a tough 10km. Register asap as registration closes at 9am today. 

Location: Camp Fortune official registration has closed please use this spread sheet to register and bring $15 with you on Sunday.
