Training July 6th to 12th

This is a building week We are going to be training hard over the next three weeks try very hard to get all of your hours in. 

Juveniles makes sure that you sign up and register for the juvenile camp here is the link. you have until July 11th to register. This is a very fun Camp and a great way to train with your Quebec competition. 


Tuesday July 7th

Activity: Classic ski double pole and legs only technique focus (6 x 1 min, 30secs rest(juniors and older 2min) (3 arms only and 3 legs only) 

Location: Relais Plein Air

Time: 6:30-8pm 

Wednesday July 8th 

Activity: Strength training 

Location: Meredith Center

Time: 6:30-8pm

Thursday July 9th

Activity: Technical Running 8 x 10sec zone 5 sprints 1 min rest mixed into the run. 

Location: Camp fortune

Time: 6:30-8pm 

Sunday July 12th 

Activity: Skate distance Ski with Zone 3 15 mins for juveniles and 20 mins for junior and older categories. We will be doing some lactate testing of your zone 3 pace. This will be a 3 hour practice so that we can start building some good distance open categories should accomplish 35 - 40km with juveniles doing 20 - 25km. It is going to be hot so make sure that you bring lots of water and a good snack as we are doing a long training. 

Location: The Billowit's have offered for the team to come over for a BBQ and a swim after practice on Sunday. It is going to be 30+ degrees on Sunday so this will be awesome. The practice location will be the parking lot  on Bates Island not far from Island park drive. It is about 15 - 20mins from Chelsea. 

Time: Practice 9am until 12noon BBQ noon until when ever you have to leave please RSVP to Mike and Sherri at the follow email so they know how many to prepare for. Mike Billowitts <>
