This is week 12 in our yearly training plan. It is a recovery week, the focus of this week will be recovery,  speed and agility.

Easterns’ Logo Contest

Win a free registration to Easterns 2014!


Hey skiers! If you have an obvious talent in drawing, the Canadian Easterns Championships Organizing Committee (CECOC) invites you to submit a sketch which will serve as the visual identity for the event in the upcoming years. The sketch chosen by the CECOC will provide a free registration for the 3-day event to the artist. Easterns will be held from January 31 to February 2, 2014.

 

The CECOC is an independent organization composed of individuals coming from the variousOutaouais/Ottawa  clubs. The CECOC wants to provide to the organization and to the event its own identity which will differentiate it from the clubs and the host site.  


Items to communicate thru the logo design may include:

 

·         Cross-country Ski Racing

·         Bridge between all the clubs

·         Outaouais/Ottawa Region

·         National Event

·         Snow Sport.

 
The logo will be used on the event website and other event related material.


The  CECOC can provide on request any further information that might help to produce the sketch. Please contact Pierre Millette at pmillette1@videotron.ca for more information.

 

The sketch should be submitted in black & white in electronic format using .jpg extension and the resolution should be high. The deadline is September 21 at 5 p.m. The sketch should be sent topmillette1@videotron.ca.

Tuesday  July 16 Biathlon

Activity: Shooting Practice, running and strength

Location: Biathlon Range

Time: 6pm


Wednesday July 17 morning practice

Activity: Strength Training for younger than 1997, bring $5 for gym fee

Location: Chelsea Gym, Meredith Centre

Time: 9am-11am 

Wednesday July 17 Juniors only

Activity: Strength Training for older than 1997 

Location: Chelsea Gym, Meredith Centre

Time: 6-7:30pm

Thursday July 18

Activity: Skate Roller ski  agility and intervals
