Training August 5th to 11th

This is week 15 in our yearly training plan. It is a volume week, the focus of this week will be lots of volume, strength and agility.

Please Note that Sunday's practice is at 8am for all athletes , Juniors, Juveniles and Midgets we will be doing a time trial together. 

Katie is on holidays this week until Friday so Wednesday juvenile and midget morning practices will be cancelled and you can attend the evening strength session.  Mike Viera, from Cross Country Canada will be coaching thursday nights practice. 

Reminders about Juvenile Camp August 25-27th and Owl Camp for Juniors August 23-25th.  These are going to be super fun so make sure you sign up. 

Reminder for athletes going to CEGEP and university this Fall. Practice for you is going to be from 4-6 in the afternoons on Tuesday and Thursday, week end practices are going to be at the same time.  Make sure that you arrange your schedules so that you can be at practice. Practice will be at the CEGEP/Relais so no extra transport will be needed.

Activity: Technical Running with hill bounding, bring running poles, make sure that you look at the map so that you go to the correct parking lot.

Tuesday  August 6 Biathlon

Activity: Shooting Practice, running and strength

Location: Biathlon Range

Time: 6pm

Wednesday August 7 Juniors only

Activity: Strength Training for older than 1997, bring $5 for gym fee

Location: Chelsea Gym, Meredith Centre

Time: 6-7:30pm

Thursday August 8

Activity: Skate Roller ski agility and intervals

Location: P8 

Time: 6-8pm  

Friday August 9 Midget and Juvenile

Activity: Skate Roller skiing, agility and intervals

Location: NCC visitors Center Running the snow shoe trails.

Tuesday August 13 Nordic

Activity: Technical Running with intervals

Time: 6-8pm 

Tuesday  August 13 Biathlon
