Training August 3rd to August 15

Week 13, Building Week

Katie and Moe are on holidays this week. Mike Viera will be guest coaching. Mike is a ex-training centre coach and Nakkertok coach. He is an excellent coach who has worked with many excellent athletes in Canada.  Eric will also be coaching. Katie is back to practice August 10 and Moe is back to practice on August 13th. 

Juvenile Camp is coming soon. Katie is leading this camp she will be sharing details of transport and departure next Sunday when she returns.

Tuesday August 4th

Activity: Skate Roller ski, legs only agility and technique work and 6 x 2min (3 legs only 3 all together)

Location: Lac Lemey Reno Depot parking Lot

Time: 6:30-8:00pm

Wednesday August 5th

Activity: Strength training this is an unsupervised training to coach present

Location: Meredith Center

Time: 6:30-8pm

Thursday August 6th

Activity: Distance run

Location: P13 wolf trial 

Time: 6:30-8pm


Sunday August 9th 

Activity: Classic Roller Ski 2x15 mins Open and 2x10 mins juvenile/junior (first 10 mins zone 3 and last 5 zone 4 (8 mins zone 3 and2 mins zone 4 juvenile and junior) it is very important you stay in zone bring your heart rate monitors. This is a 3 hour practice

Time:  8am - 11pm

Tuesday August 11th

Activity: Skate Roller ski, 2 x 5mins juvenile, 3x5mins junior and 4x5mins open zone 4

Location: Relais Plein Air

Time: 6:30-8:00pm

Wednesday August 12th

Activity: Strength training this is an unsupervised training to coach present

Location: Meredith Center

Time: 6:30-8pm

Thursday August 13th

Activity: Distance run

Location: P12 

Time: 6:30-8pm

Sunday August 16th 

Activity: Classic Roller Ski 30 mins Open and Junior and 20 mins juvenile(first 25 mins zone 3 and last 5 zone 4 (15 mins zone 3 and 5 mins zone 4 juvenile) it is very important you stay in zone bring your heart rate monitors. This is a 3 hour practice
