Thursday, March 11 - P10 to Champlain Lookout

Hi everyone.

Skate or classic option tonight, heading out at 700pm from P10 up to Champlain Lookout for a moonrise view and possibly some games.

See you then.

Sat. March 7: Dress casual or dress smart; just don't dress in ski clothes....

Here's the deal:

Wear clothes you would not normally wear for skiing.

Maybe jeans? Perhaps a shirt a tie? Even a dress! Be causal or be smart, but don't be in ski gear! And that includes what you wear on your head!

We're gonna rock the park dressed in style :) And play some games too!

Classic or skate: you choose. Your only ski gear should be skis, poles and boots.

We will be doing a mix of backcountry and classic track set on Saturday with a start at P12 at 10:00

The weather should warm up while we are skiing so prepare for all conditions.

Great skiing last weekend.

This Saturday, Feb. 15, we'll meet at P7 and take backcountry trails to Riders Roost where we will share CSM stories while enjoying hot popcorn and Valentines candy!

Bring a hot drink for yourself :)

There will be three options (see below) based on your desired pace and distance. You choose.

All routes go up, then come back down :)

10:00am. Start from P1 (Asticou)

Option 1 (19km)

Up Gatineau Parkway past Pink Lake, left on Champlain Parkway, trail 7 to P6. Down 15, cross Notch Rd, more down 15, down 5 all the way back to Asticou.

Option 2 (15km)

Up Gatineau Parkway past Pink Lake, stay on GPW to junction with trail 15; right and Down 15, cross Notch Rd, more down 15, down 5 all the way back to Asticou.

Option 3 (12km)

Up Gatineau Parkway past Pink Lake, right on trail 35, right and down on 15, down 5 all the way back to Asticou.

12:00pm. Pick up at P1.
