Sat. Nov. 16: Let's check out the views

posted Nov 15, 2019, 12:02 PM by Nick Anning   [ updated Nov 15, 2019, 12:02 PM ]

We've seen some more snow and coverage is pretty good.
Classic: rock or regular skis is fine. Just not your super best pair or brand new skis.
It's going to be a beautiful day, so we'll ski up to one of the lookouts: Huron or Champlain

Wed. Nov. 13: First ski session of the season :)

Parkways are groomed and in pretty good shape. Still better to use older skis if you have some because there might be the rare bit of asphalt showing. Poles will go through to the road. Definitely don't use brand new skis!
Even more important to be ready to ski at 7:00pm now we're in snow mode, so people don't have to hang around in the cold.
