Meet at 10:15 am at the Dow's Lake Pavillion.  You can park anywhere on the Central Experimental Farm for free.  For example if you park at the Neatby Building (960 Carling Ave; there is a parking lot there on Carling, or any street parking around the building), it is a 5 minute walk down Carling Ave to Dow's Lake.  Or you can probably find some parking off of Preston Street.  And then there is the parking lot (not free) across from Dow's Lake.  I believe you can rent skates at the Pavillion if you don't have skates.

Sat, Feb 23 @ 10:15 am - ski along the Ottawa River

Since the Sir John A MacDonald Trail starts at the War Museum, we will meet there for 10:15 am.  There is supposed to be parking there for the skiers.  The trail is set up for both classic and skate skiing.  So your choice what you would like to do.  We can ski 16 km, if we go to the end and back.
If anyone would like to carpool with me from the Visitor's Centre, I could meet you there at 9:50 am.  Just let me know.  I have room for two other people.
I will bring some hot chocolate to share with everyone.  If you could bring a cup that would help.
See you Saturday!

Wed, Feb 20 at 6:30 pm - Cabin Dinner

I hope many of you can come out for a little social at Keogan Lodge.  We will meet at the end parking lot of Camp Fortune at 6:30 pm (time change) and ski into Keogan.  If Keogan is full (because close to a full moon) then we will ski to Huron Lodge.  It will be a pot luck, so bring food and wine that you can share with everyone.  Also bring your own utensils, plate, cup, water, headlamp and some candles.  Maybe an extra layer to wear, in case you are cold on the way out, or in the cabin.

Corinne, maybe you can follow someone to Camp Fortune from the Visitor's Centre.  It will be hard for you to find the parking lot.

See you Wednesday night!
