Hi Everyone,
Lets meet at P6 (Kingsmere).  We will practice some drills tomorrow night.  Classic ski.  Don't forget your headlights.  It will be warm.

Sat. Nov 16 10 am @P5 (Kingsmere Road)

We will meet at 10 am at Parking Lot 5 (on Kingsmere Road).  I checked P6 and P8 and other groups are meeting there.  Classic skiing is better than skate skiing.  You will not want to use your best skis if possible.
It will be cold, so dress warmly.  For those who are late, we will turn left and head under the overpass and up the hill.
See you tomorrow.

Sat, Nov 9 at 10 am - Mural Run/Walk in the Glebe

posted Nov 7, 2019, 7:20 AM by Lynne Evenson

As the Gatineau Park is still closed and they have asked us to not use it, we will meet at the Wild Oat bakery (819 Bank, at the corner of Fourth St & Bank) at 10 am.  It is a 6 km route that takes you past many murals.  There are some beautiful ones in the Glebe area.  Some of them are hidden away in alleys.  We will see around 10-12 of them on this route.  Afterwards we can go for a coffee at a local café. There is also 260 Fingers Pottery Show at the Glebe Community Centre that is happening both Friday, Sat and Sunday. Some of the best artists show there. It is free admission. Definitely worth seeing if you are into art and pottery.

Wed, Nov 6 at 7 pm - Chalet des Erables

Please meet at 7 pm at Chalet des Erables, Camp Fortune.  Park your cars in the last parking lot and walk up for a warm-up.  We will be going into the Chalet to do circuits.  It will be warmer and dryer and lots of space.  If anyone is not sure how to get there, call me at 613-299-1231.  Bring your headlamps and a matt please.
