This Thursdays evening we will be meeting at P7. Please assure your Adventurer has her/his cross-country ski poles, a good headlight, a smaller fanny light, and a hip belt with water bottle (or a small knapsack to hold the water bottle). We will be doing a combo of fast-walking, jogging and “bounding” up to King Mountain accessing via Trail 8. Bounding will help practise the “compression” part of the kick-and-glide classic ski stride. Adventurers will need ski poles to do this so please DON’T FORGET SKI POLES. It’s a good climb and the JA’s will likely be spread out on the return. Some JAs may be a few minutes late getting back to P7 so be patient with pickup. Come dressed for the weather, hat, gloves and layers. |
