Activity: Classic skiing

What to bring: classic skis - conditions are actually very good, so they don't have to be old skis. I'm not going to recommend brand new off the shelf skis. There were no bare patches on the parkway when I skied there yesterday, but the snow covering is thin.

What else to bring: poles for classic skiing; clothes appropriate for the weather; red rear lamp - please make sure your child has one - very useful for seeing skiers from behind;  head lamp; water; skiing legs!
