For Saturday JA ski please meet at P8 at 9:45 am. We will ski on the Gatineau Parkway to P10, then up Fortune Lake Parkway to Keogan, and then take #1 to Penguin, down Penguin to Gatineau Parkway and back to P8. We plan to be finished by 11:45. It’s a good distance but no major, steep, up hills so even slower skiers should be able to do this in the 2 hours allocated. The track is all set for both classic and skate skis so your choice: classic or skate skis. Make sure you bring your water bottle and a light snack to be consumed enroute. For those who want a shorter ski on Saturday, I suggest you bring a thermos of hot chocolate. You can ski as far as Keogan, rest up, and then head back to P8. Those who are still full of beans when they get to Keogan can continue and do the full loop through Penguin back to P8. See you then. |
